Jennifer Forbes
Director and Lead Teacher
Jennifer Forbes is the director and lead teacher for Shepherdstown Montessori. Jennifer graduated from Shepherd University in 2019 as a Mcmurran Scholar, with dual degrees in Psychology, with an emphasis on early childhood development, and music performance. Jennifer is a certified Montessori early childhood teacher from the North American Montessori Center and has been working with young children for the last eight years. Jennifer also enjoys teaching music, playing piano, and exploring the many hiking trails of West Virginia on her free time.
Sam Ang Simpson
Teacher Assistant
Sam Ang (Miss Angie) is a teacher assistant at Shepherdstown Montessori and has been working with young children in West Virginia since 2011. Miss Angie enjoys spending her time helping children learn and grow. She can often be found reading books to the children or helping them with their Montessori work.
Christy Bevan
Teacher Assistant/ Art Teacher
Christy is a teacher assistant at Shepherdstown Montessori and has been working with children for many years. Christine studied fine arts at George Mason University. She enjoys being able to pursue her passion of helping children. Christine is married and has 2 children and one dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, trying out new eateries, and visiting antique stores.
Rylee Tucker
Teacher Assistant
Miss Rylee is a teacher assistant at Shepherdstown Montessori. She has been working with young children as an assistant teacher for the past two years. Rylee loves spending time with her dog and going on outdoor adventures on her free time.
